More than 20 people were arrested during a "street sweep" at the 300 block of East Green Street on Sept. 13.

According to a police report, approximately 14 students, one homeless man and nine others were arrested for charges ranging from underage possession of alcohol to open containers on a public street.

Three unknown men robbed the McDonald's at 2909 W. Kirby Ave. on Monday.

According to a police report, the men arrived while employees were opening the restaurant. After forcing them inside at gunpoint, the men stole an unknown amount of cash. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

A 15-year-old girl kicked a teacher in the face at Pavilion School, 810 W. Church St., on Monday.

According to a police report, the staff restrained the student for not following school rules when she kicked one of the teachers. The girl was sent to the Pavilion Treatment Center.

An unknown person stole a 22-year-old man's wallet at the 900 block of South First Street on Monday.

According to a police report, the offender entered the man's unlocked apartment and stole his wallet from the kitchen counter. No suspects were located at the time of the report.

A 22-year-old man was arrested for hitting a 20-year-old woman with a water balloon from a balcony at the 500 block of East Healey Street on Friday.

According to a police report, the man was issued a notice to appear in court.

A 41-year-old man was arrested for stealing three cordless drills from Menards, 620 W. Town Center Blvd., on Monday.

According to a police report, a witness saw the man attempt to return the drills to a store shelf. The items had been stolen the day before.

Two 21-year-old men were arrested for possession of cannabis at the 600 block of North Neil Street on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the cannabis and drug paraphernalia were found during a traffic stop. Both men were issued notices to appear in court.

Urbana:

A 13-year-old girl cut another 13-year-old girl with a steak knife at the 1100 block of Austin Drive on Monday.

According to a police report, the two girls were fighting when their parents separated them. One girl went into the house and returned with a steak knife and cut the other girl on the head. The offender was arrested and taken to Champaign County Juvenile Detention Center.

An unknown person "keyed" the car of a 25-year-old woman at the 300 block of West Oregon Street on Thursday.

According to a police report, both the driver and passenger sides were damaged. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and a 74-year-old was issued a citation after an collision on Monday.

According to a police report, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Cunningham Avenue and Kenyon Road. The 74-year-old man was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.

Two computer scanners were stolen from Worden-Martin Inc., 100 Carriage Center St., on Sept. 15.

According to a police report, an unknown person stole the scanners from the service center. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.
