Champaign:

A 19-year-old Urbana woman was given a notice to appear in court after being found in possession of alcohol on Sixth Street on Sept. 10.

At the 500 block of Neil Sreet, a 47-year-old man was found in possession of alcohol on public property Sunday night.

According to a police report, he was given a notice to appear in court.

Late Monday night, a 24-year-old man was stopped for improper lane usage at the intersection of Market and Bellefontaine Streets.

According to a police report, the man was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle.

Officers were dispatched to a fight at the 800 block of West Harvard street early Tuesday morning.

According to a police report, no fight was found but a passerby was cited for not having a light on his bike. The 23-year-old man then flung his bike at an officer. He was given a notice to appear in court.

A 31-year-old man threw a concrete block into a 37-year-old woman's windshield at the 1300 block of Sunset Drive last Wednesday.

According to a police report, he threw the block when she refused to give him a ride. The suspect had not been located at the time of the report.

Urbana:

At the 1800 block of Philo Road, a 23-year-old man was arrested and taken to jail last Tuesday after officers searched a vehicle and found a weapon belonging to him.

According to a police report, the man was a passenger in the vehicle.

An unknown offender burglarized an apartment at the 1000 block of Stoughton Street early Tuesday morning.

According to a police report, the offender entered the front door, which was unlocked. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported later in the afternoon that one purse, a wallet, a thermos, some cash, her driver's license, University ID, cologne and a credit card were stolen.

Six rocks of cocaine were found on the floor of Auto-Zone, 606 E. Main St., on Sept. 6.

According to a police report, one customer found the cocaine and gave it to another, who then alerted an employee.

A 21-year-old Champaign man entered the bathroom and broke the glass from a picture hanging on the wall at Mac's Bigfoot, 1821 Philo Road.

According to a police report, the witness knew the offender. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

University:

An Urbana man was arrested on charges of theft after police saw him riding one bike and pushing another between Morrill and Burrill Halls early Wednesday morning.

According to a police report, two bikes and a hacksaw, which the officer assumed was used to cut bike locks, were confiscated.

Late Tuesday night, an Urbana woman reported that a man grabbed her from behind and attempted to force her to the ground at the 2300 block of Lincoln Ave.

According to a police report, she struck him in the eye with her CD player and flagged down a motorist who took her back to her residence.
