Champaign:

A 54-year-old man was arrested on Sunday afternoon for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage.

According to a police report, the man was arrested at the intersection of Prospect and Springfield avenues.

A 21-year-old woman said an unknown man threw a 40-ounce beer bottle at her sliding glass door on Saturday and shattered the door.

According to a police report, the incident occurred at the 400 block of East Healey Street. The suspect had not been located at the time of the report.

Officers were called to a residence at the 100 block of Aztec Place on Sunday for a report of a domestic argument.

According to a police report, a 43-year-old man and his 30-year-old girlfriend were having a verbal argument when she attempted to damage his vehicle with a metal fork. She also took his wallet and identification from inside the vehicle. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

A freshman in ACES and a 19-year-old Naperville, Ill., man were arrested on Sept. 6 for throwing beer bottles off of a balcony at the 300 block of East Daniel Street.

According to a police report, both men were issued notices to appear in court.

A 50-year-old man was arrested on Monday for criminal sexual abuse at the 300 block of South Second Street.

According to a police report, a 19-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman said he inappropriately touched them while they were on the patio of the residence.

Two 13-year-old Urbana boys were apprehended for retail theft on Saturday at Meijer, 2401 N. Prospect Ave.

According to a police report, a security officer saw the boys take shoes from a shelf. One boy wore a pair of stolen shoes out of the store and the other concealed a pair in his clothing. Both offenders were released to their parents.

Urbana:

A 41-year-old Champaign man stole two cases of beer on Monday from Mobil Super Pantry, 2002 N. Lincoln Ave.

According to a police report, the man paid for a can of beer but did not pay for the cases. The suspect had not been located at the time of the report.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on Monday at the 900 block of South Lierman Avenue for possession of a controlled substance, probation violation and obstructing an officer.

According to a police report, an officer stopped the man in his vehicle because he had an obstructed front windshield and no registration light. He consented to a search and officers found a controlled substance. The man was taken to jail.

University

22-year-old Mt. Prospect, Ill. woman was arrested on Monday on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant.

According to a police report, an officer stopped the woman at the 600 block of South Wright Street because her headlights were not activated.
