Champaign:
A 19-year-old Tinley Park, Ill. woman was arrested Friday evening for underage possession of alcohol at Piccadilly Beverage Shop, 601 S. First St.
According to a police report, the arrest was part of the Champaign Police Department's "Cops in Shops" program, in which police regularly monitor establishments that sell liquor to prevent underage drinking. The woman was given a notice to appear in court.
A junior in business, a 20-year-old Roselle, Ill. woman and a 20-year-old Syosset, N.Y. man were arrested early Saturday morning at Murphy's Pub, 604 E. Green St.
According to a police report, the three were arrested for underage drinking and given notices to appear in court.
A 29-year-old man was arrested Saturday night at Colonial Pantry, 312 E. Green St., on charges of criminal damage to property.
According to a police report, a witness saw the man scratching a car that belonged to a 46-year-old man.
An unknown offender was seen inside a 21-year-old Naperville, Ill. man's apartment at the 900 block of East Healey Street Saturday morning.
According to a police report, the offender fled the apartment when confronted and nothing was taken. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
Urbana:
A pizza delivery driver for Papa John's, 1307 E. Florida Ave., noticed several items missing from his car after returning from a delivery run Sunday afternoon.
According to a police report, the stolen items included a CD case, 60 CDs and his wallet, which contained his drivers license, state ID, social security card, credit card, health insurance card and some cash. The man said he didn't know where or when the items were taken.
A 34-year-old Maywood, Ill. man was arrested Sunday morning at the 300 block of South Broadway Avenue for five outstanding Champaign County warrants, resisting and obstructing an officer and obstructing justice.
According to a police report, the man provided officers with a false name and later ran to avoid arrest. His warrants were all for failing to appear in court, including three for civil trials, one for domestic battery and one for criminal trespassing.
A 29-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man reported early Sunday morning that they had received numerous harassing phone calls from a 20-year-old Champaign woman.
According to a police report the Champaign woman called around 20 times and also came to the victims' residence and threatened them.
University:
An 18-year-old Urbana woman was arrested on charges of possession of drug equipment, possession of cannabis and obstructing justice Saturday evening.
According to a police report, the woman was found smoking cannabis in a courtyard outside Florida Avenue Residence Halls.
