A 12-year-old boy was arrested for battery on Saturday at Cunningham Children's Home, 1301 N. Cunningham Ave.
According to a police report, officers were called to the home because the boy was chasing a 25-year-old female employee and threatening to batter her with large rocks. He also broke a window with the rocks. He was taken to the juvenile detention center.
