Football game to be canceled The football game between Illinois and Louisville scheduled to be played Saturday at Memorial Stadium has been canceled. In place of the game the University plans to hold an event at Memorial Stadium to remember the terrorist attacks on Tuesday. The event is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m., the original time of the game.

Football players, coach react to cancellation There was no doubt that Illinois football players wanted to play on Saturday against Louisville at Memorial Stadium. When the decision was overturned by the University this morning, there was some disappointment at not having the chance to play.
