Champaign:

A 25-year-old Champaign man was arrested on the 1100 block of Dorsey Drive on Wednesday night.

According to a police report, the man was sitting in his car attempting to light a marijuana blunt cigar. When he was approached by the police, he dropped it. The man was arrested for possession of 10.2 grams of suspected cannabis.

Urbana:

An unknown offender broke into a car on the 2500 block of Prairie Green Drive early Thursday morning.

According to a police report, the victim, a 25-year-old Champaign man, reported that his driver's side window had been broken and a CD player was stolen from his car. No arrests have been made at the time of the report.

A 19-year-old Urbana woman was arrested on the 1100 blockof Cunningham Avenue on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the woman was pulled over for a traffic stop when she swallowed a bag of suspected cannabis. The woman was arrested for possession of cannabis, obstruction of justice and driving with a revoked license.

University:

A 19-year-old Carrollton, Ill. man was arrested for two counts of driving under the influence Thursday.

According to a police report, the man was arrested for driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08 and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

A Champaign man was arrested following a traffic stop on Thursday.

The man was pulled over because he squealed his tires. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the man was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for driving under the influence, driving on a revoked license and illegal squealing of tires.
