Chancellor Nancy Cantor announced Thursday evening that Friday classes will be canceled from noon to 1 p.m "in keeping with President Bush's request" as part of the national day of mourning declared for today.

A student-organized vigil will be held on the Quad. Cantor also encouraged students to attend a service of their choice.
