Illinois senior football standout Dustin Ward and his sister Brittany, a soccer standout, do more than just support and encourage each other. They are leading their respective teams.

Illinois sophomore guard Dee Brown will have to provide leadership for the Illini, if the basketball team wants to succeed this year.
Men's Tennis
Illini dominate Regionals
After the Illinois men's tennis team sent three players to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regional semifinals last season, few thought the men could top that feat this year. The Illini did when junior Chris Martin and senior Michael Calkins won the doubles crown at the tournament. Three Illini reached the semifinals as well. Calkins lost in the finals.
Women's Basketball
Women have great expectations
The Illinois women's basketball team is ready for another successful season and have the confidence necessary to emerge at the top of the Big Ten. The women will host their annual Orange and Blue Scrimmage tonight at Assembly Hall.
Men's Club Soccer
Soccer to host Regionals
The Illinois men's club soccer team has already qualified for the national tournament later this year, but that won't stop the men from coming out strong in this weekend's tournament featuring 12 teams from the Midwest.
