Fire Drill

The car, a Dodge Durango donated by Chrysler, was used to demonstrate how airbags affect safety for firefighters dealing with automobile fires. "One of the things we have to look out for and be aware of is airbags in any car fire," said IFSI instructor Dan Czarnecki (not pictured). "With airbags ... virtually now in every vehicle, how safe is it for firemen? What hazards do they have to look at?"
