Champaign:

• A 26-year-old man was arrested for battering another man in a bar at the 0 block of Main Street on Saturday.

According to a police report, the man also hit the owner when he tried to intervene.

• A 22-year-old man broke a window in an apartment building at the 200 block of East Clark Street on Friday.

The man was issued a notice to appear in court.

• Two 33-year-old men began a fight outside of a bar at the 200 block of North First Street on Saturday.

According to a police report, the officers used pepper spray when the two refused the officers' command to stop. Both men were arrested and issued notices to appear in court.

• An unknown person entered the apartment of four 19-year-old men and stole various items at the 100 block of East Chalmers Street on Thursday.

According to a police report, DVDs, an MP3 player, Playstation games and dress shirts were stolen. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

• A 34-year-old man was arrested for punching another man in a crowded bar at the 200 block of North First Street on Saturday.

According to a police report, the arrestee threatened the other man's girlfriend and then pushed an officer investigating the situation.

• A 39-year-old homeless woman was arrested for trespassing at the intersection of West Maple Street and Prospect Avenue on Saturday.

According to a police report, the woman was found banging on doors and windows when she was arrested.

• A 21-year-old man was arrested for obstructing an investigation at the 100 block of South First Street on Saturday.

According to a police report, the man was found urinating on a sidewalk and was issued a notice to appear in court.

Urbana:

• A 17-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were attacked by six unknown men at the 1500 block of East Washington Street on Saturday.

According to a police report, the six men hit the boy and man in the head several times and stole a soft drink and two perishable food items. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

• An unknown person struck two different vehicles with a solid object at the 1900 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue on Saturday.

According to a police report, the first vehicle's taillight was busted and the second car's mirror was damaged. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

• Two 21-year-old men were arrested for cannabis possession at the 1200 block of West Oregon Street on Friday.

According to a police report, an officer observed one of the offenders sitting in the car for several minutes and pedestrians approaching the vehicle. The officer then approached the vehicle and saw an open container of alcohol. One of the men consented to a search of his person and several bags of cannabis were found.
