According to a police report, the man put a hair-curling kit in a plastic bag and left without paying.

An unknown person stole a 21-year-old woman's television from her residence at the 800 block of South Second Street on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the offender entered the woman's unlocked door and took the TV. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

An unknown man broke a window and a glass door at the International House of Pancakes, 308 E. Green St., on Thursday.

According to a police report, the man fled the scene immediately after the incident. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

A 17-year-old girl, a 12-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy attempted to steal clothes from Kohl's, 109 Convenience Center Dr., on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the three juveniles filled a shopping cart full of clothes and tried to leave the store. The 17-year-old was arrested and the other offenders were given juvenile appointments.

Urbana:

The Urbana Police Department assisted the county's police department in locating a 16-year-old runaway at the 1100 block of North Cunningham Avenue on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the girl had been residing in a local hotel when she was found, and had a Coles County warrant for her arrest. She was taken to a juvenile detention center.

A 21-year-old man reported receiving harassing phone calls at his residence on Wednesday.

According to a police report, an unknown woman continued to call the man even after he asked her to stop. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

An unknown person entered a 21-year-old woman's unlocked vehicle and stole speakers and an amplifier at the 1400 block of Wiley Drive on Sunday.
