Champaign:

A 56-year-old White Heath, Ill., man reported Tuesday that his apartment at the 300 block of East John Street was hit by paint balls.

According to a police report, there were no suspects at the time of the report.

A 40-year-old woman reported Tuesday that an unknown suspect entered her garage at the 400 block of North Willis Avenue on Monday, stealing $3 from inside her parked vehicle, according to a police report.

The suspect had not been located at the time of the report.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for damaging property early Wednesday morning at Kam's, 618 E. Daniel St.

According to a police report, the suspect threw a bottle, breaking a front window of the building. He was issued a notice to appear in court.

A 20-year-old Frankfort, Ill., man was arrested early Wednesday morning for damaging the Delta Tau Delta house at the 400 block of East John Street.

According to a police report, the suspect threw a rock through a window of the house. He was arrested later at the 200 block of East Green Street and issued a notice to appear in court.

Urbana:

A 47-year-old woman reported Tuesday that an unknown man harassed her at her motel room, at the 400 block of North Vine Street.

According to a police report, the suspect knocked on her door and demanded money. At the time of the report, the suspect had not been located.

Employees of a motel at the 400 block of West University Avenue reported Tuesday that a room was found covered with blood and a window in the room had been broken.

According to a police report, motel staff went to check on the 47-year-old woman who was renting the room, after the Urbana Police Department contacted the motel regarding another case with the woman. They found the room damaged and unoccupied. At the time of the report, the woman had not been located.

A 19-year-old Champaign man reported that a man assaulted him while in his car at the 900 block of West Fairlawn Drive on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the unknown suspect accosted the victim in the parking lot of a gas station. He then followed the victim through traffic, and approached the victim's car while stopped at a red light. He then battered the victim through the open window. At the time of the report, the suspect had not been located.

An unknown man stole a pumpkin from the Mobil Super Pantry, 507 W. University Ave., on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the man purchased liquor from the store and took a pumpkin from a sidewalk display as he left the store. At the time of the report, no arrests had been made.
