Illinois football announced Tuesday that quarterback Jon Beutjer will miss the rest of the season with a herniated disk in his back. Saturday's starter has not been named. |

Illini golf finishes second to end fall season
With the fall season coming to a close, the Illinois men’s golf team was determined to end on a good note. The Illini finished in style at the Duke Golf Classic , sealing second place, just 1-stroke behind the victorious North Carolina.
Heading into the third round of play, Illinois was in third place of the 15- team field. But with a stellar round of 286 — the lowest round of the season — the Illini were able to bump themselves up the leaderboard.
