The Illinois football team heads to Ann Arbor, Mich., Saturday to clash with the Wolverines. The Illini will not only have to overcome a talented team, they will be without the services of quarterback Jon Beutjer, who injured his back in the California game early this season. Beutjer's replacement has not been named.
Volleyball
Illini contend for top spot
The volleyball team will face off against the Michigan State Spartans and the Michigan Wolverines this weekend. The Illini are looking to improve on their Big Ten ranking before returning to Huff Hall.

The Illinois women's cross country team suits up for its first home meet since the 2001 season on Saturday at the Illni Pack-it-up Challenge.

The Illinois men's cross country team will don their orange and blue jerseys for the only time in front of local fans this season. The Illini begin their race at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday at the Arboretum.
