Champaign:

A 45-year-old Mason, Ill., man and 33-year-old Mason woman were arrested Sunday for burglary, possession of methamphetamine precursors and cannabis.

According to a police report, the offenders stole allergy medicine from Target, 2102 N. Prospect Ave. After police made a traffic stop, they found the equipment they believed necessary to produce methamphetamines.

An apartment on the 1600 block of West Bradley Avenue was burglarized by an unknown suspect on Sunday.

According to a police report, 10 clothing items, a video game system with two controllers, video games and a DVD player were stolen.

A 49-year-old man was arrested Sunday for theft and controlled substance possession.

According to a police report, the man had been stealing his wife's prescription medication.

Urbana:

A vehicle was reported stolen at the 900 block of Colorado Avenue on Sunday.

According to a police report, the victim parked the vehicle in the parking lot behind his apartment building but later found it missing. Police had no suspects at the time of the report.

A vehicle was burglarized at the 900 block of West Springfield Avenue on Sunday.

According to the the police report, a backpack, passport, graphing calculator, textbook and pair of aluminum crutches were stolen from the vehicle. Police had no suspects at the time of the report.

An unknown offender hit a person with a beer bottle at the 1500 block of East Washington Avenue on Saturday night.

According to a police report, the bottle struck the victim's arm, creating a cut that required stitches.

University:

An 18-year-old Champaign man was arrested Sunday for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia and illegal transportation of alcohol.

According to a police report, the man was pulled over at the 500 block of St. Mary's Road for exceeding the speed limit. Police found three unopened beers, two pipes and cannabis in the car.

A 22-year-old Carbondale, Ill., man was arrested at the 1300 block of West Green Street Saturday morning for damage to state-supported property.

According to a police report, the man broke three windows at the greenhouse at the Natural History Building. When apprehended, the man had several cuts on his hand and apologized for breaking the windows.
