Champaign:

A 22-year-old Schaumburg, Ill., woman said she did not receive a watch that she purchased online on Sept. 23 in an E-bay transaction.

According to a police report, the victim purchased the watch using her VISA credit card. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

A 38-year-old man was arrested Saturday afternoon for possession of heroin on the 1900 block of North Prospect Avenue.

According to a police report, the offender's vehicle was stalled at an intersection and the suspect was found to be in possession of four small tin foil squares containing about 3 grams of heroin.

Three juvenile offenders were reported stealing costume jewelry from Wal-Mart, 913 W. Marketview Dr., on Thursday evening.

Juvenile appointments were set for the offenders.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting sunglasses at Gordmans, 1901 N. Market St., on Saturday afternoon.

An 18-year-old Tolono, Ill., woman reported her money stolen by her co-worker, an 18-year-old woman, at County Market, 2901 W. Kirby Ave.

No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

An unknown offender left Mobil Super Pantry, 59 E. Green St., without paying for gas on Sept 19.

According to a police report, an employee attempted to stop the offender and was dragged by the offender's vehicle for several feet. The employee was not injured.

Urbana:

A 21-year-old man was arrested Saturday morning after he stole a charcoal/gas grill, a 25-foot garden hose and two oil-burning torches on the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

According to a police report, a police officer observed the man stealing the items and attempted to make contact with him. He chased the offender several blocks before catching him.

Three unknown offenders unchained a 50-year-old Urbana man's dog and dragged it away at the 1500 block of Hunter Street on Friday afternoon.

According to a police report, the dog was located and returned to the owner.

A 36-year-old Champaign woman reported all four of her vehicle's hubcaps stolen on Saturday morning at the 800 block of West Green Street.

No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

UNIVERSITY:

A 22-year-old Bloomington, Ill., man was arrested on Sept. 26 for illegal transportation of alcohol, driving with a suspended license and obstruction of justice.

According to a police report, an officer stopped the man after he disobeyed a stop sign. The officer searched the vehicle and found a half-empty beer bottle under the driver's seat.

A laptop computer was stolen from a resident's room at Trelease Hall between Sept. 25 and 27.

According to a police report, no arrests have been made.
