Champaign:

Two 16-year-old boys parked their vehicles at a residence at the 2900 block of Valleywood Drive Monday evening and returned Tuesday morning to find the vehicles had been burglarized.

According to a police report, items stolen from the vehicles included cash, a stereo and a backpack. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

A 21-year-old woman reported Wednesday that she had been receiving harassing phone calls to her cell phone from an unknown female.

According to a police report, no arrests had been made at the time of the report.

Two Danville, Ill., men, 19 and 20 years old, were arrested early Thursday morning on charges of trespassing and battery of a 22-year-old Paxton, Ill., man at a bar on the 1900 block of West Bradley Avenue.

According to a police report, both of the offenders were taken to jail.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday afternoon for the unlawful use of a weapon at the 500 block of University Avenue.

According to a police report, the suspect cut open a container, removed the property, put the property in his pocket and exited the store without paying.

Urbana:

A 40-year-old homeless man was arrested Wednesday night in a parking lot at the 300 block of University Avenue for drug equipment and cannabis possession.

According to a police report, officers approached the man after he was seen driving into and walking through the parking lot of a closed business. The offender told officers he was in possession of a drug pipe. After finding the pipe and cannabis on the man, officers searched the man's car and found three more bags of cannabis. The man was taken to jail.

A 68-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct Wednesday night at the 100 block of Race Street.

According to a police report, the drunken offender caused a disturbance in a local tavern and battered an employee, a 37-year-old Champaign man, who was escorting him out. The offender was taken to jail.
