An unknown woman filled her gas tank with $5 worth of gas and left without paying at Freedom Gas, 1406 N. Prospect Ave., on Sunday.

According to a police report, no suspect had been located at the time of the report.

A 21-year-old man stole a portrait from the Phi Sigma Alpha fraternity house, 1004 S. Second St., on Sunday.

According to a police report, the portrait was taken from the basement wall of the fraternity. The man was issued a notice to appear in court.

A 31-year-old man was arrested for fleeing from an officer at the 900 block of West Bradley Avenue on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the officer saw the man on a bicycle without a light and asked him to stop. The suspect tried to flee on his bike and was arrested.

An unknown person used a 21-year-old woman's social security number for utility services at the 300 block of East Daniel Street on Monday.

A 61-year-old man and a 47-year-old man were arrested for trespassing at an abandoned building at the 400 block of South Fourth Street on Monday.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for attempting to steal food from Schnucks Supermarket, 200 N. Vine St., on Monday.

According to a police report, the boy put candy bars, juice and chips in his backpack and attempted to leave the store without paying.

A 42-year-old man was arrested for cursing and threatening hospital staff at the Carle Hospital emergency room, 611 W. Park St., on Monday.

According to a police report, the man was heavily intoxicated and was brought to the hospital in restraints. The man also attempted to hit a security guard.

An unknown person stole a 43-year-old man's car, cell phone and keys at the 700 block of East University Avenue on Monday.

According to a police report, the offender stole the car from the victim's work site and drove it to a local motel. The car was recovered but the keys and cell phone were still missing at the time of the report.

A pool cover was damaged when an unknown person entered a 53-year-old man's pool house and garage at the 800 block of East Oregon Street on Monday.

According to a police report, the person fled when the resident discovered someone in the garage. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

A disc jockey's sound equipment was stolen after a party at the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity house, 310 E. Gregory St., on Sunday.

According to a police report, compact disc players, a mixer board, 100 albums and other equipment were stolen. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

An unknown suspect threw rocks from a building's rooftop at the 400 block of South Fourth Street on Monday.

According to a police report, the rocks damaged a 21-year-old woman's vehicle. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.
