Champaign

• An unknown person stole a stereo mixer from a fraternity house at the 1000 block of South Second Street on Nov. 10.

According to a police report, the suspect broke a stained glass window to steal the mixer.

• An unknown person threw a chunk of concrete through a 71-year-old man's window at the 200 block of Garwood Street on Tuesday.

• An unknown person stole a 16-year-old girl's purse, credit cards and cell phone at the 600 block of West White Street on Monday.

According to a police report, the person cut through the girl's convertible top to steal the items. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

• Officers found cannabis in a 36-year-old man's vehicle at the 1800 block of Southwood Court on Sunday.

According to a police report, the cannabis was found during a search after the man was stopped for a traffic violation. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

Urbana

• An officer found a straw with cocaine residue and a marijuana hitter with burnt cannabis in a 44-year-old man's vehicle at the intersection of Dewey and Main streets on Monday.

According to a police report, the man consented to a search after being stopped for a traffic violation. No arrests had been made, but the items were seized as evidence.

• An unknown person stole a cell phone and prescription sunglasses from a 20-year-old woman's unlocked vehicle at the 400 block of East Elm Street on Monday.

• A 31-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested for obstruction of justice at the 800 block of North Mathews Avenue on Tuesday.

According to a police report, an officer was looking for the man on a follow-up to a previous report when the man gave a false name. The woman also provided a false name for the man. The man ran and tried to hide in his residence but was located by the police. Both the man and the woman were taken to jail.

• A 37-year-old man was arrested after police found drug paraphernalia in his hotel room at the 400 block of East University Avenue on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the man was wanted on a Champaign County warrant and fled when officers located him. He ran into his motel room and locked the door and refused to stop when officers asked. Another person opened the motel door and the man was arrested. Two crack pipes and a push rod were recovered from under the bed and the man was taken to jail.
