Champaign:

A construction trailer at the 3700 block of Summer Sage Court was broken into by an unknown offender sometime over the weekend.

According to a police report, a nail gun and two chop saws were stolen from the trailer. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

Two unknown suspects threw a cinder block through a window of a fraternity house at the 300 block of East Chalmers Street early Tuesday morning, according to a police report.

A 24-year-old woman reported that an unknown offender broke into her apartment at the 700 block of South Randolph Street while she was away Monday afternoon.

A 32-year-old Urbana woman was arrested at the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., on Saturday afternoon for burglary and retail theft, according to a police report.

A 22-year-old Urbana man reported that he was attacked by a group of unknown men while walking on the 500 block of South Goodwin Avenue early Monday morning.

According to a police report, the man said the assailants stole his bookbag, which contained his wallet, cash and several books. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

A 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass was broken into sometime between Nov. 5 and Nov. 14 while it was parked in a lot at the 1600 block of South First Street.

According to a police report, the vehicle's window was smashed, its dashboard panel was damaged and stereo components had been taken out of it. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
