An unknown suspect entered a 25-year-old woman's residence at the 2700 block of Arden Drive and stole several items on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the offender stole a color TV and checks. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

A 22-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of East White and Fifth streets on Saturday.

According to a police report, the man was also charged with improper lane usage.

An unknown offender stole a 48-year-old woman's vehicle at the 1400 block of Cambridge Drive on Friday.

According to a police report, the woman parked the vehicle in her driveway and when she returned it was gone. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

An unknown offender entered a 53-year-old man's residence at the 2500 block of Sheridan Drive Tuesday and stole a cigar box and money.

According to a police report, the person cut a window screen to gain entrance into the residence. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

A 29-year-old woman stole seasonings, candles and wine from Jerry's IGA Round Barn, 2110 Round Barn Rd., on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the woman was issued a notice to appear in court.

An unknown offender stole two wedding rings, a shotgun, a watch and a camcorder from a 28-year-old man's residence at the 2700 block of Wellington Drive on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the person broke a bedroom window to gain entrance. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

A 48-year-old homeless man was arrested after assaulting a 28-year-old man at the zero block of University Avenue on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the homeless man was banned from the area and when police tried to remove him he assaulted the other man on the sidewalk.

Urbana:

An unknown offender placed rat poison in a person's yard at the 1000 block of Country Squire Drive on Monday.

According to a police report, the victim reported that the person may have placed the poison in the yard to injure the two resident dogs — a result of an ongoing feud. Both dogs are currently being treated by the victim's veterinarian. No supects had been located at the time of the report.

A 19-year-old man was arrested after punching a 16-year-old boy in the forehead at the intersection of Kinch Street and Michigan Avenue on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the man provided the police with a false name and birthdate but was later found to have a Champaign County warrant for his arrest.

A 45-year-old homeless man was arrested for stealing food from County Market, 220 N. Broadway Ave., on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the man ate meatballs, deviled eggs and milk while in the store and left without paying.

A 34-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were arrested after almost having a fight at the 1900 block of West Bradley Avenue on Thursday.

According to a police report, when the police confronted the two men the 34-year-old man pushed an officer and the 23-year-old man tried to block an officer from going after the other man. The first man was taken to jail and the second was issued a notice to appear in court.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for resisting an officer at the 3300 block of West William Street on Wednesday.

According to a police report, officers were apprehending the boy for another incident when he started resisting. The boy was taken to jail.

A 22-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman reported that a man was looking into their window at the 800 block of Second Street on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the women said the man appeared to be masturbating. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

An unknown person entered a 19-year-old woman's unlocked apartment and stole a laptop at the 100 block of East Armory Avenue on Wednesday.

No suspects had been located at the time of the report.
