• Officers conducted a covert tobacco compliance check at the Mobile Super Pantry, 3604 Mattis Ave., last Thursday.

According to a police report, an employee was arrested for selling tobacco to a 15-year-old minor.

• A 28-year-old man was arrested for driving with a revoked license and possession of cannabis at the intersection of Fifth Street and Bradley Avenue last Wednesday.

According to a police report, the man was stopped for a traffic violation when the officer discovered his license had been revoked. When the officer conducted a search of his vehicle cannabis was found.

• Twenty minors were arrested for possessing alcohol in separate instances during bar checks on Saturday.

According to a police report, police checked local bars at the 300 and 600 blocks of East Daniel Street and in one instance worked with both the Illinois State Police and the University Police. Several arrestees were given notices to appear in court.

Urbana

• An unknown person entered a 21-year-old man's and 22-year-old man's apartment and stole several items at the 1300 block of North Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday.

According to a police report, a Nintendo Game Cube and other electronic game equipment was stolen. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

• A 19-year-old man was arrested after trespassing at the 1700 block of East Colorado Avenue on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the management at the building had previously banned the man from returning to the property.

University

• An unknown person stole $100 from a student's backpack at Lincoln Hall on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the student left his backpack unattended for a few minutes in a computer lab and the money was gone when he returned. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

• An unknown person stole $7 from a truck at the 1600 block of South First Street on Monday.

According to a police report, the truck was unlocked when the money was stolen from the console. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

• An unknown person stole a laptop computer at a loading dock at the 1600 block of South Oak Street sometime between Oct. 22 and Oct. 30.

No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

• A Philo, Ill., man reported an unknown person shined a laser pointer at him at the 1000 block of West Illinois Street on Monday.

According to a police report, the suspect shined the laser through a residence hall window at passing cars. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.

• An unknown suspect burglarized a car parked at the 1000 block of West Pennsylvania Avenue on Saturday or Sunday.

According to a police report, two speakers and more than 100 CDs were stolen. No suspects had been located at the time of the report.
