Wednesday Shaun Livingston announced he will be playing basketball for Duke next season in a press conference at Peoria Central High School. Livingston was heavily recruited by Illinois and had connections to the University through Peoria natives Illinois assistant coach Wayne McClain, Jerrance Howard and Richard McBride.

Senior earns at-large bid
Illinois senior Jennifer McGaffigan earned an at-large bid to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Indoor tournament in Ann Arbor, Mich., this weekend. McGaffigan will be the lone Illini to compete at the tournament, which gets underway today.
