The Illinois men's basketball team travels to the Madison Square Garden tonight to face off against Providence.

Emotion puts Illini back on Track
The Illini endured two tough weeks. A team with high aspirations was coming off a four game losing streak. The Illini scheduled a tough preseason schedule to test themselves and highlight parts of their game that needed work. According to the team, they need confidence and emotion to succeed in this Big Ten conference.
Saturday afternoon the Illini fought for their second win of the season and put themselves back on track.

Wrestling
Two wrestlers pick up titles in Vegas
Illinois wrestlers Alex Tirapelle and Mark Jayne continued their winning ways this weekend at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.
Both wrestlers became Las Vegas Invite champions as they each remained undefeated for the season. Jayne and Tirapelle also took home Missouri Open titles on Nov. 23.
As a team, the Illini finished in fourth place, somewhat of a disappointment after they were ranked No.1 in the country by intermatwrestle.com two weeks ago.
