• A 21-year-old man was arrested at the 200 block of West John Street early Sunday morning for a noise violation.

According to a police report, he was issued a notice to appear in court. A 24-year-old man was also arrested for a noise violation early Sunday morning, at the 600 block of East Clark Street.

• Unknown suspects stole a large safe from a Subway restaurant, 706 W. Marketview Drive, early Saturday morning.

According to a police report, no arrests have been made.

• A 40-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested on Wednesday afternoon after they stole meat products and miscellaneous personal items from Schnuck's, 109 N. Mattis Ave., according to a police report.

• Two 19-year-old men were arrested early Wednesday morning for burglary and consumption of alcohol by minors.

According to a police report, officers responded to a burglary in progress at a residence at the 400 block of East Green Street. The men matched the description of the offenders and were taken to jail.

• An unknown offender attempted to break into Bob Evans restaurant, 1813 N. Neil St., on Friday night.

According to a police report, there were pry marks on the front doors, but the suspect did not gain entry. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

• An 18-year-old Rantoul, Ill., man was arrested on Thursday for trying to use a fake driver's license at a bar at the 1900 block of West Bradley Avenue, according to a police report.

• An unknown offender used a BB gun to shoot out the window of a school bus on Wednesday evening while it was parked at the intersection of Country Fair Drive and Bradley Avenue.

According to a police report, no suspects have been located.

Urbana

• An unknown offender broke a glass window leading to the chapel at Provena Covenant Medical Center on Thursday and stole 13 gifts meant for needy families.

According to a police report, no arrests have been made.

• A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Friday night for possession of cannabis and drug equipment at the 3000 block of East Washington Street.

According to a police report, the boy was stopped for a traffic violation and the officer saw marijuana seeds and drug equipment in plain view in the vehicle. The boy and an 18-year-old male passenger each had a bag of marijuana in their pockets. The 18-year-old was also arrested.

• A 33-year-old man was arrested for retail theft on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Philo Road and Colorado Avenue.

According to a police report, he had set off security alarms at the Osco Drug store, 1818 S. Philo Road, but left the store. Officers found him with four stolen CD players. He was taken to jail.

• A unknown offender pumped gasoline at Mac's, 1821 Philo Road, on Saturday evening and drove away without paying.

According to a police report, no suspects have been located.
